- * The Wedding and Event Professionals group (WEP) was formed to offer consumers a list of venders with a record of reliability and ethical business practices.
- * WEP membership is only available to those who meet industry standards established by WEP and by peer members in their category.
- * New members must be nominated and voted acceptance by existing Participating Members of WEP.
- * WEP will promote the WEP Membership list equally for all participants.
- * WEP membership is Free to any qualified vendor. No one is allowed to buy a membership if they don’t meet WEP standards.
- * As a way to finance the organization, WEP offers promotional packages. Promotions are available to WEP members only.
- * WEP does not rank or recommend vendors, but verifies each to be a legitimate entity and a proven wedding or event professional.
I agree to abide by the standards of this Code of Professional Conduct established by WEP and its members.
- 1. Operate with a valid Tax ID number
- 2. Maintain appropriate insurance for my business
- 3. I have all required legal certification for my category of business and follow applicable laws and regulations
- 4. I have a minimum of two years experience in my category and have worked at least six events in each of the past two years.
- 5. For membership with an Easy Click Web Link, I will provide a link-back to the WEPros web site.
I understand membership will be revoked or rejected due to:
- 1. Violation of a WEP Code of Professional Conduct.
- 2. A second legitimate complaint of improper conduct from two different clients or WEP vendors.
- 3. Legal actions that reflect badly on my business.
- 4. A vote to remove or reject membership by WEP members.
